Welcome to the official online column of Emmanuel Morgan. Below are a few samples of my work

Emmanuel Morgan is a hard working, highly motivated and extremely determined individual whose goal is to become a successful sports journalist within the next 15 years. His desire to better himself and perfect his craft has given him opportunities that few journalists his age have had.
In his experience, Emmanuel has interviewed and interacted with 15 former or current professional athletes including Cam Newton, Thomas Davis, Randy Moss and Muhsin Muhammad.
As a first year student at Elon University, Emmanuel is Assistant News Editor for The Pendulum, Elon's award winnning student newspaper. Along with reporting on campus, local, state and national news each week, he edits articles and assists in the production of the online/print publications.
When Emmanuel is home in the Charlotte area, he is a freelance writer for the Charlotte Observer-- the largest newspaper in North Carolina. While still in high school, Emmanuel obtained this position, which calls for him to cover high school sports and local community news. He is one of only a few high school students to ever be published in the Charlotte Observer.
Emmanuel is also a sports journalist for the Lake Norman Citizen, a weekly community newspaper for Northern Mecklenburg county. Additionally , he is a features reporter for U.S. Prep Athletes,- The Magazine, an interactive online magazine which highlights North Carolina's top high school athletes.
In total, Emmanuel has over 40 articles, stories and features published under his byline with professional media outlets.
Outside the realm of journalism, Emmanuel displays a heart of servitude and ambition. He has completed over 100 hours of community service and is a College Ambassador for the Young Black Men Leadership Alliance, a 501c3 organization designed to erase the stigma associated with African-American Adolescents.
